We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Professional to join our team at Santa Fe Public Schools. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and their families.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive healthcare services to students, including health assessments, screenings, and education on healthy practices. As a school nurse, you will work closely with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Implement health policies and procedures in accordance with local and state regulations
- Conduct health screenings and assessments to identify potential health issues
- Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with special needs
- Provide emergency care and first aid as needed
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to promote student health and well-being
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A registered nursing degree and licensure as a school nurse in New Mexico
- At least 2 years of experience in school nursing or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
