A reputable travel nurse staffing agency, A" Best Placement Services ", is currently seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to fill a challenging labor and delivery role in Arlington, Texas.

About the Job

This 13-week contract position offers a unique opportunity for experienced RNs to apply their expertise in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a labor and delivery nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to expectant mothers, supporting them throughout their pregnancy journey.

To be eligible for this position, applicants must possess at least one year of acute care experience in labor and delivery, with a preference for those who have obtained this experience within the past 12 months. Additionally, candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for hire as a traveler.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing labor and delivery procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and support.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health records (EHR) software, specifically Meditech.
Compensation and Benefits

The pay package for this position is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, subject to confirmation. A tax-free stipend amount will be determined and provided separately. This opportunity presents a chance to earn a competitive salary while working in a stimulating environment.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current RN licensure in the United States.
  • At least one year of acute care experience in labor and delivery.
