The Palmdale School District is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Classroom Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our educational support staff, you will play a vital role in assisting teachers with classroom activities, preparing instructional materials, and providing individualized support to students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and implementation
  • Prepare and maintain classroom materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Provide individualized support to students with academic skills, such as reading, writing, and mathematics
  • Monitor and maintain student behavior and safety during class activities
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as record-keeping and data entry
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or 48 college units preferred
  • Experience working with children in a school setting highly desirable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is $16.64 - $20.24 per hour, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid holidays, sick leave, and vacation time.
