Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist Specialist

Norman Regional Health System is a leading healthcare provider nestled in the heart of Oklahoma. Our innovative cardiovascular program is expanding, and we are seeking a skilled Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist - RCIS to join our team.
About the RoleWe offer a comprehensive compensation package, including a competitive hourly rate of $27.84-$45.46 based on experience. Responsibilities- Prepare equipment before and during procedures to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care with compassion and professionalism.
- Maintain a sterile environment during procedures to prevent infection and promote patient safety.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, sharing your expertise and knowledge to ensure a seamless onboarding process.
- Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks assigned by the Charge person or manager.
- Foster strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months of hire.
- Complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months of hire.
- Hold current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) and/or Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Possess Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training, which must be maintained throughout employment. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.
