Job Summary

As a key member of our development technology team, the successful candidate will analyze business requirements and problems to design high-quality technical solutions. This individual will be involved in various aspects of the full systems life cycle and be responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting application software that meets deadlines and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze system requirements, including identifying program interactions and interfaces between impacted components and sub-systems.
  • Make recommendations for the development of new code or the reuse of existing code.
  • Lead assigned projects, including assigning tasks, coordinating efforts, and monitoring performance.
  • Recommend new technologies and methodologies to management to meet business needs, resolve problems, and exploit opportunities.
  • Participate in software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
  • Provide technical advice and assist in solving programming problems.
  • Write and/or review system specifications, including output requirements and flow charts.
  • Assist in preparing project plans using project management tools.
  • Review test results, document test activities, and record remedial actions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field and a minimum of five years of relevant development or engineering experience.
  • Financial Services experience preferred.
  • Experience in SSRS, SSIS, Oracle, SQL, ETL tools, project management, enterprise implementation, leadership, strategic planning, business acumen, application development, and change management.
