PACU Manager

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse Manager to lead the Perianesthesia Department. This is a unique opportunity to maximize efficiency and optimize patient flow in a high-volume, high-acuity environment.

• Direct the efficient flow and movement of patients to and from the PACU department.
• Establish effective communications with nursing management, anesthesia floor leader, surgeon, and hospital administration to ensure efficient utilization of the PACU department.
• Ensure that optimum utilization is maintained with minimum use of overtime and additional staff.
• Develop and maintain a plan of organization which facilitates congruency with organizational goals.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and organizational abilities, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions in a timely manner.
