Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute experiments focused on T cell biology, including signaling pathways, activation, and proliferation, to advance our understanding of immune responses.
  • Perform cytokine assays to measure immune response and activation levels, and analyze data to inform research decisions.
  • Utilize transduction techniques to modify and investigate T cell behavior in various experimental contexts, and troubleshoot experimental protocols to ensure reproducibility and high-quality data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate findings into broader research initiatives, and present research findings to internal and external stakeholders, including scientific conferences.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of experimental procedures and data analysis, and stay current with relevant scientific literature to contribute to the development of new hypotheses.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Immunology, Cell Biology, or a related field, with a focus on T cell biology and expertise in T cell signaling, proliferation, activation, and cytokine assays.
  • Experience with cell transduction techniques and strong background in immunoassays, with proficiency in ELISA and flow cytometry (FACS) considered a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot experimental protocols.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly and contribute to the development of new research initiatives.
