About the Role

This position involves diverse responsibilities, including assisting in surgeries, educating pet owners, and honing technical skills in a supportive environment. As a Veterinary Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of animals, with your day-to-day tasks including placing IV catheters, performing dental procedures, and assisting doctors during surgical operations.

You will also be responsible for drawing blood samples and conducting various laboratory tests, enabling accurate diagnoses. Additionally, you will have the rewarding opportunity to educate pet owners, equipping them with vital information to enhance their furry companions' health and happiness.

Requirements
  • A Nebraska Veterinary Technician License is required, demonstrating your commitment and proficiency in the field.
  • Strong communication skills are essential, as you will interact closely with both the veterinary team and pet owners, ensuring clear understanding and education.
  • Proficiency with veterinary software and tools is crucial for accurate record-keeping and efficient patient management.
  • A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills will enable you to perform various tasks, such as placing IV catheters and assisting in surgeries, with precision and confidence.
