Job Summary:


We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a full-time RN position. This role requires at least one year of experience in adult inpatient acute care and involves using the nursing process to assess patient needs, plan and implement individualized interventions, and evaluate the effectiveness of the plan of care.



Key Responsibilities:


This position involves providing ongoing assessment of patients, anticipating and recognizing significant changes in their condition, and implementing strategies to reduce patient risk and increase patient safety. The nurse will also collaborate with other healthcare team members to coordinate patient-centered care, actively coordinate discharge plans, and promote a culture of safety.



Requirements:


The ideal candidate will have demonstrated progression to provide holistic patient care, recognize situational changes that require unplanned or unanticipated interventions, and respond to situations with confidence, timeliness, and flexibility. They will also possess excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to develop rapport and maintain positive, professional relationships with patients, team members, and physicians.



Benefits:


This position offers a SIGN-ON BONUS of up to $10,000, payable after hire, as well as Student Loan Forgiveness up to $20,000, Tuition Assistance up to $7,200, and RN Referral of $5,000 for Advocate Aurora Teammates. Additionally, the position is Military/Veteran Friendly and offers a full-time schedule with 12-hour shifts and weekend/holiday rotation.



Work Environment:


The position requires sitting, standing, walking, lifting, squatting, bending, reaching above shoulders, and twisting frequently throughout the workday, as well as the ability to lift up to 50 pounds from the floor to waist, lift up to 20 pounds over the head, and carry up to 40 pounds a reasonable distance. Protective clothing and equipment must be worn as necessary due to potential exposure to chemical and hazardous waste, blood, and body fluids, and communicable disease. The position also requires functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch, as well as the ability to use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions.



Estimated Salary Range:


$65,000 - $90,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
