About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Data Insights Specialist to join our Global Logistics Sourcing Team at Metasys Technologies. This pivotal role involves collaborating closely with the Logistics Director and Sourcing team to develop innovative data-driven solutions, driving informed decision-making in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement effective data analysis processes to monitor quality and integrity across the organization.
  • Leverage structured and unstructured data sets to generate descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive reports facilitating business improvements.
  • Organize and visualize diverse data sources to effectively communicate key insights and drive actionable outcomes.
  • Create tools and templates for managing carrier risk and relationship management.
  • Investigate issues to identify potential problems and proactively address them.
  • Stay informed on logistics innovations and competitor implementations.
  • Manage routine and unexpected disruptions ensuring continuity in product movements.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and high performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a STEM discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics data analysis with a proven track record in designing solutions.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, Tableau, EDI, and data automation.
  • In-depth understanding of all modes of shipment (Truck Load, Less Than Truck Load, Ocean, Air, Parcel, US domestic/International transportation).
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Able to work effectively in ambiguous situations, manage pressure, and juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.).

Compensation:

This is a highly competitive role with an estimated salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage, as well as generous paid time off and holidays.

Travel:

Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
