About the Role

As a Certified Nurse Assistant II, you will work as part of a dynamic nursing team under the supervision of a Registered Nurse on assignments that are routine in nature and within authorized duties.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support RNs in patient care delivery by performing tasks such as vital signs collection, data gathering, and assistance with daily living activities.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to address issues that may arise during patient care, referring more complex matters to the RN when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and transitions.

Requirements:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) 2 Acute Care certification
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a CNA 1 or equivalent
  • High school diploma or GED
  • BLS certification within 1 month of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a CNA 2 Acute Care
  • Basic computer keyboarding skills
