Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Pacific Rail Services in Bergen, NJ. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing forklifts, company vehicles, and hostler fleet.

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with forklifts, company vehicles, and hostler fleet.
• Maintain and repair hostler fleet to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Assist in other areas as needed by managers to support the smooth operation of our rail terminal.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the mechanical field with a focus on preventative maintenance.
• Advanced knowledge of Air, Electrical, Hydraulic, and Diesel systems and components.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a 7-year background check.
• Ability to pass a hair follicle drug test and IPCS Physical Capabilities Test.

• Competitive hourly pay with yearly income potential of $45,000-$60,000 per year (including overtime).
