Mental Health Specialist for Secondary Education

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience working as a school psychologist, preferably in the Austin, MN area.
Caseload Overview:
- Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) students
- Secondary Grades (8-12) students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students from ECSE to high school.
- Provide counseling and mental health support to students, promoting their overall well-being and academic success.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop intervention plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide support for students with disabilities.
- Support the development and implementation of behavior management strategies to foster a positive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Active School Psychologist certification.
- Experience working with students across a broad age range, from early childhood through secondary education.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, enabling effective collaboration and teamwork.
Compensation Package:
The estimated salary for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards. This figure may vary depending on individual qualifications and experience.
