Senior Nursing Manager

Genesis HealthCare, a leading provider of healthcare services, seeks an experienced nursing professional to join its team as a Unit Manager - RN. This key role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and staff satisfaction.
About the Role
As a Unit Manager - RN, you will oversee the nursing unit's operations, working closely with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate staffing levels. Your primary focus will be on providing safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement strategies that minimize rehospitalizations. Additionally, you will mentor and educate nurses, serve as a resource for staff members regarding quality of services provided, and ensure medication management adheres to Genesis policy. Direct patient care responsibilities include maintaining skills and collaborating with other unit nurses.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center state. At least one year of nurse leadership experience is required, along with three years of nursing experience (Associate Degree in Nursing) or two years of nursing experience (BSN). BLS/CPR certification is mandatory. The ideal candidate will be located in Albuquerque and be prepared to work full-time hours with a salary range of $42-$45 per hour.
