BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a per diem Home Health Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Gastonia, North Carolina. As a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist, you will be an integral member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team providing rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients.

Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a per diem opportunity performing home health visits. This position involves working with adult and geriatric patients in their homes throughout Gaston County. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients experiencing speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough evaluations to assess client needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to improve client outcomes.
  • Continuously assess and revise the care plan as needed, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Document all interactions, interventions, and evaluations accurately and thoroughly.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in North Carolina.
  • Equivalent educational requirements, as indicated by school transcript or diploma, and work experience necessary for certification.
  • Solid computer skills and prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.
