Job Summary

Temple University Health System seeks an experienced Inpatient Admission Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth and efficient admission process for patients requiring inpatient care.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the timely assignment of beds for inpatient admissions and outpatient observations
  • Promote collaboration among healthcare teams through multidepartmental coordination
  • Monitor and report on bed utilization and develop strategies for optimal resource allocation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited medical terminology course
  • At least 3 years of experience in a related role, preferably in Bed Control/Scheduling
Estimated Salary

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience
