Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Drafter (Traveling) to join our team at MasTec Advanced Technologies.

About the Role: As a Drafter (Traveling), you will be responsible for project design, field survey, QA/QC, and collaborating with Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Project Managers for reviews of engineering design packages, including drawings, BOM, and procedures.
  • Perform basic to intermediate engineering designs.
  • Survey and document existing utility field conditions, using GPS and conventional survey methods.
  • Contribute to and implement design modifications to improve project quality and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD (at least 1+ year of experience).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions, around energized equipment, in confined spaces, and in heavy traffic and construction environments with proper PPE.
