Job Description

We're seeking a talented Recruiting/Talent Acquisition Intern to join our team As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for driving recruitment strategies, managing talent identification and selection, and building candidate pipelines using recruitment tools. You'll have the opportunity to learn various business areas and support facilities with talent acquisition efforts.

  • Partner with hiring managers to develop and execute recruitment strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Conduct phone screens, evaluate candidate quality, and schedule interviews to ensure seamless talent acquisition processes.
  • Build innovative strategies to improve candidate generation using vendor tools and recruiting technology, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Analyze recruiting metrics to assess strategy effectiveness and drive process improvements, providing data-driven insights to inform future recruitment decisions.
  • Support workforce planning and recruiting projection processes, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Establish relationships with local community organizations and educational institutions to generate a talent pipeline, fostering strong partnerships that benefit both parties.
  • Provide training and guidance to hiring managers on interviewing and candidate evaluation techniques, enhancing their skills and confidence in the recruitment process.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related Human Resources field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), with the ability to create engaging content and analyze data effectively.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail; ability to prioritize effectively, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • A professional, positive, and enthusiastic attitude, with excellent communication and writing skills.
  • The ability to develop strong relationships and communicate with all levels of the organization, including hiring managers and candidates.
  • The ability to multi-task between many different projects or duties, staying organized and focused in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills and Experience

Candidates with prior knowledge or experience of recruitment processes and initiatives, as well as previous experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, HRIS, or other CRM or data management systems, are highly preferred. Bilingual individuals (English/Spanish) are also encouraged to apply.

Physical Requirements

This role requires a bachelor's degree and bilingual skills (English/Spanish). Demonstrated ability working with the elderly, disabled, and other individuals at risk, exhibiting empathy and compassion to improve their quality of life, support, and access to needed services.
