About the Job

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to join our team as a Respite Worker in the High Desert area. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide responsible care to enable families to restore or maintain stability
  2. Work a minimum of two hours at each respite appointment
  3. Follow instructions for client care and adhere to policies and procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years' experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance
Working Conditions

This position requires community driving and visiting families in various home settings. Travel will not exceed 40 miles unless approved by the Respite Program Manager.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $17.00 per hour, based on 30 hours of work per week.
