Estate Planning and Taxation Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Estate Planning and Taxation Professional to join our team at Adams & Martin Group.
Compensation PackageThe estimated salary for this position is $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities- Prepare complex Federal and State fiduciary income tax returns, including individual and partnership tax returns, as well as partnership accounting and calculations for individual estimated tax payments and liquidity estimates.
- Develop and prepare Federal and State estate and gift tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Create trust accountings, including conservatorship and estate accountings, for submission to the appropriate court.
- Prepare foundation tax returns, including 990PFs and applications for recognition of exemption (Form 1023).
- Stay current on relevant tax law developments and changes, applying expertise to ensure clients' interests are protected.
- Prepare probate and related papers, demonstrating attention to detail and knowledge of relevant laws.
- Coordinate the valuation of decedents' assets, ensuring accurate representation of their worth.
- Oversee fiduciary accounting and bookkeeping, maintaining transparency and accountability in financial records.
To succeed in this role, candidates must have:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Trust & Estates and Tax, preferably with licensure in Minnesota.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply critical thinking to complex situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software and tools, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
