**Job Summary:**

The Detailer is responsible for performing various detailing and transportation tasks in support of a Cabela's Sales, Service, and Parts operation.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Wash, clean, and wax boats and ATVs for scheduled customer pickups, display, and service.
  • Unload incoming boats, motors, trailers, and ATVs using a forklift or tractor and transport them to various areas within the dealership.
  • Confirm packing lists or invoices for boat loads or other product deliveries.
  • Transport and stage customer boats and ATVs to service, rigging, and storage yards.
  • Maintain an updated list of cleaning supplies and inform the Service Manager or Service Lead of needed items.
  • Assist the Rigger and Service Specialist with PDI and VIN verification processes.
  • Inform the Service Manager or Service Lead of any unit concerns or required repairs.
  • Perform grounds and facility maintenance as required.
  • Keep work areas neat and clean.

**Requirements:**

  • High School education or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to complete simple math calculations.
  • Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and fellow team members.
  • Maintain required criteria to operate company vehicles and equipment safely.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and tractor.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all kinds of weather.
