Job Summary:

The University of California, Irvine Department of Neurology is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative board eligible/certified physician to develop a comprehensive headache program and outpatient headache clinic.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead a headache program at UC Irvine Medical Center
  • Provide patient care, academic activities, patient education, staff education, and research
  • Support the development of a comprehensive headache program and outpatient headache clinic
  • Participate in specialty and interdisciplinary clinics at the University campus in Irvine and other UCI Health sites

Requirements:

  • MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent degree with active board certification or eligibility in Neurology with fellowship training in headache
  • Eligibility to obtain an active and unrestricted medical practice license to practice in the State of California
  • Qualified to hold a faculty appointment in the Department of Neurology and hold medical staff privileges with the UCI Medical Center

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Interest in developing a clinical trials program
  • Active involvement with international, national, and/or regional professional societies
