About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist Level II to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Health in Waco, Texas. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surgical Support: Assist the surgical team during procedures by preparing the operative site, maintaining the instrument table, and ensuring the proper functioning of surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Instrument Management: Prepare and maintain sterile supplies and equipment, identify damaged or incomplete trays, and rectify discrepancies promptly.
  • Team Collaboration: Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and surgical team staff, pass sterile supplies and equipment, and assist with draping and positioning the patient.

Required Qualifications: A graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program, less than one year of experience, and certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from NBSTSA or NCCT. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.

Estimated Salary: $40-$60 per hour based on location and experience, with a sign-on bonus available. Benefits start day one.
