Job Summary:

This role is designed to provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes or community settings. The Respite Care Worker will work closely with customers to develop and implement personalized plans that cater to their unique needs and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Adhere to agency policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for customers.
Provide personalized support and care to customers, promoting their independence and well-being.
Develop and maintain effective communication with customers, their families, and support teams.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services and high-quality care.

Requirements:

Current Arizona Driver's License.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Fingerprint Clearance.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Six months of experience working with Developmentally Disabled individuals.
Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

This role requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, lifting, bending, and squatting. The ability to lift customers and hear ordinary conversation and phone communications is essential. Visual acuity is also required for this position.
