We are seeking a dynamic Teacher Educator to join our faculty at the University of Canberra. In this role, you will have the opportunity to design, develop, and deliver engaging undergraduate coursework while actively contributing to our research initiatives.
As a Teacher Educator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of teachers, inspiring students, and advancing knowledge in the field. You will have the chance to lead and develop innovative lectures and tutorials, pursue grant opportunities, conduct research, and enhance our teaching programs.
This role emphasizes both education and research, allowing you to coordinate high-quality courses that inspire students. You will have the opportunity to work in a diverse and inclusive culture, with access to professional development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and family-friendly policies.

The estimated salary for this role is $113,674 pa - $134,633 pa, plus 17% Super. The University of Canberra offers excellent conditions and benefits, including on-campus facilities, professional development opportunities, and a corporate private Health Plan.

About the Opportunity
- Contribute to teaching, course development, and research-led teaching
- Development of research leadership in professional learning
- Teaching and assessment of students through face-to-face, online, and blended mode of education
- Preparation and delivery of lectures, seminars, tutorials, and practical classes
- Conduct tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, field excursions, and studio sessions
- Marking and assessment
- Convening individual units and coordination of particular programs
- Supervision and support of students on professional experience (where applicable)
