Job Overview

The Electrical Project Coordinator position at Bergelectric is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to assist in the management of projects from start-up to closeout.


About the Role
  • Assist with the management of project turnover and startup processes, review proposals and project requirements, and coordinate materials procurement.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and federal/state laws, provide status updates, and maintain documentation records.
  • Responsible for material requisition, submittal compilation, purchase orders, on-site job walk-throughs, change orders request for information, and close-out documents.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate with project managers, site superintendents, and field staff to ensure project goals are met.
  2. Develop and maintain online project document postings using Bluebeam Studio and Microsoft SharePoint.
  3. Collaborate with vendors and clients to establish positive relationships.
  4. Assist in monitoring project planning, execution, and closure, as well as all project functions related to quality control and project management.
  5. Maintain project management files and drawing sets.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • 2+ years of electrical experience or knowledge of construction, design, and cost management as a Project Engineer with Commercial, Institutional, and/or Industrial projects.
  • Experience preparing take-offs and estimates for change orders.
  • Advanced abilities in reading and interpreting plans and specifications.
  • Knowledge of NEC and NECA codes and TIA standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Bluebeam, Accubid, or other estimation software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 based on industry standards and location. Additionally, Bergelectric offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
