About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our Sports Media Sales team at Warner Bros. Discovery. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for cultivating and nurturing relationships with major agencies and national brands, and developing and executing cross-platform programs across NBA, NCAA, NHL, MLB, and other sports properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue and expand our client base
  • Partner with our Marketing, Planning, and Account Service teams to ensure successful program implementation and client satisfaction
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with national brands and media/advertising agencies
  • Manage and analyze client campaign performance to recommend and tailor solutions based on client objectives and KPIs

Requirements

  • At least 7 years' media sales experience, with a proven track record of negotiating, structuring, and closing media brand partnerships
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a creative approach to sales and a passion for brand storytelling in a sports context
  • Strong organizational/project management skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand the media industry, changing technology, and convey it in an easy-to-understand manner

What We Offer

Warner Bros. Discovery offers a competitive salary range of $105,000 to $195,000 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time, and vacation.
