Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Traveling Healthcare Professional to join our team.

The estimated salary for this position is between $60,000 and $90,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in a home health setting. As a Traveling Healthcare Professional, you will have the opportunity to work with patients in various locations and gain valuable experience in a dynamic environment.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing and documenting skilled nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
  • Delivering and coordinating quality patient care in compliance with physician orders
  • Observing and assessing patient condition and care needs, reporting changes to the supervisor and/or physician as appropriate
  • Documenting all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner

In addition to your clinical skills, you will also be responsible for:

  • Participating in the development and implementation of the nursing care plan
  • Taking appropriate nursing action based on assessment and achieving expected outcomes
  • Recognizing changes in patient needs and responses requiring intervention and implementing care to prevent risk or reduce risk

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures
  • One year of pediatrics experience in South Carolina or one year of experience working under a current nursing license in California
  • Six months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting
  • Home health experience

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience and location. In addition to your base salary, you may also be eligible for benefits such as travel reimbursement and housing assistance.

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
