Enterprise Account Strategist

At Workday, our vision is to revolutionize the enterprise software market by putting our people first. As an Account Executive, you will play a key role in driving incremental add-on business into strategic named accounts.
About the RoleIn this position, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers, focusing on upselling via deal management. You will perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment.
You will drive strategic add-on and renewal business of Workday solutions within Medium Enterprise customers. Your tasks will include coordinating cross-functionally with Workday's internal teams, such as pre-sales, digital, value & bid-management, marketing, technical, and sales support.
About YouTo succeed in this role, you will need approximately 8+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud-based ERP/HCM/Financial/Planning/Analytics solutions to C-levels from a field sales position. You must have experience negotiating deals with various C-Suite Executives to close opportunities.
You should also have experience building relationships with existing customers for add-on or incremental business, as well as experience developing long-term account strategies with existing customers.
Additional requirements include experience managing longer deal cycles beyond 6 months with large deal sizes, staying up-to-date with industry trends and customer needs, and effectively positioning Workday solutions within accounts.
You will also need to leverage and partner with internal team members on account strategies, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be familiar with managing a variety of customer relationships.
Workday Compensation PackageThe annualized base salary range for this position is $136,200 USD - $166,400 USD, based on the location and work responsibilities. In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
This comprehensive compensation package allows us to attract and retain top talent in the industry while providing a competitive total rewards statement. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need.
