Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital CT Technologist for a per diem position in Marinette, Wisconsin.

About the Role:

  • This is a per diem opportunity with flexible shifts and ongoing duration.
  • The ideal candidate will have Radiographer licensure and Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • A Computed Tomography (CT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required within 18 months of hire.
  • BLS certification from the AHA is also required within six months.

Responsibilities:

  • Competently operate CT equipment to perform basic and intermediate diagnostic procedures.
  • Obtain medical history from patients and compare requisitions to physicians' orders to ensure exam accuracy.
  • Position patients and select proper scanning factors, adjusting as needed to attain the appropriate images.
  • Provide radiation protection and safety measures in accordance with regulatory agencies.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and basic radiation safety.
  • Show proficiency in IV and venipuncture (if required).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with physicians, patients, and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain accurate records.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and push/pull with 30 pounds of force frequently throughout the day.
  • Clear speech, vision, and hearing are necessary.
  • Exposure to mechanical, electrical, chemical, and radiation hazards may occur.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this role is $62,000 - $75,000 based on industry standards and location. Benefits include holiday pay, guaranteed hours, continuing education opportunities, and a range of employee assistance programs.
