Job Summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Science, Technology & Industry team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery, and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a collaborative design culture.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Manage and lead A/E design teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Conduct code analysis, research, and specification writing.
  • Prepare and manage construction documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate communication between clients and Colliers Engineering, resolving issues promptly.
  • Deliver clear and timely feedback to the project team.
  • Monitor project performance, ensuring quality standards and design goals are met.
  • Establish and maintain regular project meetings, including client, internal team, and consultant meetings.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring minimal liability.
  • Highly organized, with excellent multitasking and time management skills.
  • Follow through with post-contract administration, ensuring client satisfaction and relationship maintenance.
  • Integrate design and technical aspects of projects, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Initiate, document, and maintain project setup, including contract review and filing procedures.
  • Meet or exceed financial goals, providing timely information to Accounting for invoicing.
  • Have direct contact responsibility with clients and associated consultants, ensuring timely collections and management of delinquent accounts receivables.
  • Ensure orderly and complete preparation, distribution, and retention of project written records.
  • Understand design philosophies, building design concepts, design software, and delivery methods.
  • Understand and respond to technical implications of design decisions.
  • Define, monitor, and maintain control of project scope, schedule, and work plan.
  • Prepare and negotiate client and consultant proposals, fees, schedules, and contracts.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in the Science, Technology & Industry sector.
  • Professional Engineering Licensure preferred.
  • Strong Revit and AutoCAD skills preferred.
  • Prior experience with SketchUp, Google Earth, Enscape, BlueBeam, SpecBuilder Cloud, and CTM BIM Suite preferred.
  • Able to build relationships and communicate at every level of a project.
  • Able to work independently with minimal instruction.
  • Client-facing experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English for job-related communications and verbal instructions.
