Job Summary

Eataly North America is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Cheese Specialist to join our team in the cheese department. As a Cheese Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing, packaging, and stocking a wide variety of high-quality cheeses, as well as providing exceptional customer service and sharing your knowledge of cheese with our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist guests with cheese selection and provide recommendations
  • Weigh, label, and package products in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure the counter and display refrigerators are neatly and accurately stocked, and promptly inform management when food quantities or supplies are low
  • Merchandise displays attractively and rotate products according to quality and First In First Out (FIFO) standards
  • Clean work station thoroughly
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register
  • Knowledge of cheese highly preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, weeknights, and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours
