Job Summary

Peak Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to provide exceptional service and support for our clients' equipment, ensuring timely and efficient solutions. This role involves installations, repairs, preventative maintenance, calibration, and sales support for electro-mechanical devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell service contracts, upgrades, parts, and billable labor revenue to meet business goals and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and adhere to approved inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation of field activity, expenses, time reporting, and other required information.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction when resolving issues and complaints.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders regarding service call status, ETAs, and resolution status.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with corporate and service department procedures and policies.
  • Install, maintain, and repair FHE (forms handling equipment).
  • Take ownership of position and proactively schedule servicing activities based on regional demands and priorities.
  • Continuously improve results by challenging old methods and taking responsible risks.
  • Participate in continuous training and self-development to learn Peak-Ryzex products and applications.
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
Requirements
  • Near-expert level technical background in electro-mechanical devices.
  • Associate Degree desired or 2-4 years of equivalent work experience in field service, IT, or a similar industry.
  • Certification in information technology or process improvement desired.
  • Strong computer skills and phone application skills using Microsoft Windows-based programs.
  • Ability to work from home with minimal supervision or guidance.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs without limitations or constraints.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the country and perform in high-pressure environments.
