Restaurant Operations Leader
A dynamic and engaging career opportunity awaits at Gecko Hospitality's trendy full-service restaurant in Burlington, MA.
Compensation: The salary for this role is estimated to be in the range of $65K to $75K per annum, commensurate with skills and experience.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and charismatic Assistant General Manager to join our team. As the right-hand person to the management team and ownership, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategies to achieve operational excellence at the restaurant level.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Operational Strategies: Work closely with the management team and ownership to create and implement plans that drive sales growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and maintain high standards of service quality.
- Brand Ambassador: Represent Gecko Hospitality's established brand values and mission to the team, customers, and community, ensuring a cohesive and positive image.
- Scheduling and Operations Management: Submit weekly schedules that deliver exceptional dining experiences while meeting budgeted targets.
- Facility Maintenance: Lead daily and weekly walkthroughs to ensure facilities meet our high standards.
- HR Compliance and Best Practices: Uphold HR practices that align with our values and are compliant with local, state, and federal laws.
- Cleanliness, Safety, and Food Safety: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, sanitation, and food safety throughout the restaurant.
- Training and Development: Showcase extensive knowledge of operational systems, train direct reports, and delegate tasks effectively.
- Guest Experience: Deliver exceptional food, outstanding service, and unforgettable dining experiences to all guests.
- Team Culture: Foster a positive work environment through effective communication with employees and managers.

- Physical Demands: Be able to stand for up to 10 hours and lift up to 40 pounds.
