Patient Care Technician

About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to jumpstart your career in the healthcare industry. As a Patient Care Technician, you will have the chance to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, dietitians, and social workers, to provide exceptional care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Perform technician duties, such as setting up hemodialysis machines and monitoring patient statistics
- Build long-term relationships with patients and educate them on kidney dialysis-related topics
- Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians to provide holistic care to our patients
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfortable working around blood and needles
- Ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Flexibility to float to various clinics within the territory as needed
