Job Summary

We're seeking an Optical Sales Specialist to join our team As an Optical Sales Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring every patient has the best possible experience in our stores. Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate strong relationships with existing customers and build new ones, ultimately driving sales growth and company objectives.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets through effective relationship-building and upselling opportunities.
  • Utilizing prescription information to recommend suitable lenses and lens coatings, while providing excellent customer service.
  • Assisting patients in selecting frames that meet their needs and coordinating frame selection with optical measurements.
  • Conducting accurate optical measurements using industry-standard tools and collaborating with Opticians as needed.
  • Contributing to a positive store environment by fostering strong relationships with colleagues, management, doctors, and support staff.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized store appearance, including displays and inventory.
  • Embracing change and adapting to new technology with ease.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience in retail or customer service.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers, and basic phone and math skills.
  • The ability to multitask and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written).
  • A self-motivated individual with a proven track record of meeting goals.

Salary Information

This position offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. Additionally, benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
