Radiology Imaging Specialist

United Surgical Partners is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at New Mexico Surgery Center - Orthopaedics. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality radiographs and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all radiographic procedures as written in the Policy and Procedure Manual.
- Notify the department director of equipment/machine malfunction.
- Follow policies, procedures, goals, and objectives for Radiology Tech according to accepted standards.
- Adhere to Policies and Procedures as defined by Infection Control.
- Maintain and demonstrate current skills and knowledge of all radiographic procedures.
- Demonstrate knowledge of reporting system of radiology findings to physician.
- Serve as a resource to other members of the health care team.
- Act in accordance with the vision, mission, and business philosophy of the Center.
- Maintain patient, physician, and employee privacy and confidentiality per policy.
- Follow the Center's professional conduct and dress code policy.
- Communicate effectively and courteously with visitors, physicians, patients, and employees.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED.
- Graduate of an approved school of radiology technician.
- Currently certified in the state. BLS certification.
- One year experience required.
- Familiar with medical terminology.
