As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and service. Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Operate pharmacy systems, including entering patient and drug information, processing prescriptions, and managing inventory.
- Assist with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring the pharmacy department is stocked with adequate supplies, clean, neat, and orderly in condition and appearance.
- Develop strong relationships with customers and colleagues, providing a positive and supportive work environment.
- Participate in training and development programs to maintain and improve skills and knowledge in pharmacy operations, customer service, and inventory management.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
- Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
- Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
- Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
- Prefer knowledge of store inventory control and PTCB or ExCPT certification.
