We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical RN Coordinator to join our team at Nuvance Health Med Practice CT. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

About the Role

The Clinical RN Coordinator-Oncology/Hematology will play a vital role in coordinating the clinical and administrative activities related to the outpatient physician's practice. This includes assisting supervising physicians with patient visits, collecting and tracking clinical data, and educating patients and caregivers about medications and treatment instructions.

This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist supervising physicians with patient visits, including physical assessments and health histories
  • Coordinate care with infusion staff and collect and track clinical data
  • Educate patients and caregivers about medications and treatment instructions
  • Maintain accurate records and provide documentation per department guidelines
  • Perform routine diagnostic tests, such as complete blood counts and electrocardiograms
  • Assist physicians with routine outpatient procedures, such as paracentesis and bone marrow biopsies
Requirements
  • State of CT RN license required
  • One year of experience in oncology nursing preferred
  • BSN degree or higher preferred
