Job Title: Registered Nurse

At The University of Vermont Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Radiation Oncology team. This is a per diem position, offering flexibility and autonomy in your work schedule.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Radiation Oncology department. As a member of our team, you will work closely with our providers, radiation therapists, social work, front desk, and prior auth team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care in a Radiation Oncology setting
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in Radiation Oncology
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Vermont
  • Experience in Radiation Oncology or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
