Capital One is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our team of innovators and pioneers in the technology space. As a key member of our engineering team, you will have the opportunity to drive a major transformation within the company, leveraging your expertise in full-stack development tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions
  • Stay on top of tech trends, experiment with new technologies, and participate in internal and external technology communities
  • Deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences for millions of Americans
  • Utilize programming languages like Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, as well as Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services, and AWS tools and services

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js
  • 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
  • 3+ years of experience in open source frameworks
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
