Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled Support Services Specialists to join our Specialized Community Support (SCS) programs. These specialized programs cater to individuals with complex medical, behavioral, and mental health needs. As a Support Services Specialist, you will work collaboratively to create person-centered support plans that focus on individual goals while ensuring safety and community integration.

Responsibilities
  • Assist individuals in developing independence in essential life skills such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and navigating the community.
  • Advocate for individuals in areas like rights, medical care, and community engagement.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and record-keeping for each shift.
  • Manage crisis situations effectively, which may include manual restraints, following proper training and 245D requirements.
  • Embody trauma-informed care principles in daily interactions.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse individuals.
  • Ability to stand, squat, bend, or walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with local community resources is advantageous.
  • Must clear a Bureau of Criminal Affairs (BCA) background study and possess a valid driver's license, with a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) also required.
Salary Information

Based on industry standards and regional factors, the estimated annual salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000.
