Job Summary
At Overhead Door, we are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble products to specifications according to blueprints, drawings, BOMs, and work orders.
- Mentor and train colleagues to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
- Master all assembly functions of designated departments.
- Use power and hand tools as required to perform tasks.
- Meet work standards as established by the department.
- Monitor quality of raw materials and manufactured products.
- Identify and inspect required components for assembly.
Requirements:
- Ability to read and understand work instructions in English.
- 12+ months related experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- Frequent bending, pushing/pulling, reaching, and lifting periodically up to 75 pounds.
- Regularly lift up to 35 pounds.
Education:
Preferred: High School Diploma or GED.
