Job Summary

At Overhead Door, we are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble products to specifications according to blueprints, drawings, BOMs, and work orders.
  • Mentor and train colleagues to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
  • Master all assembly functions of designated departments.
  • Use power and hand tools as required to perform tasks.
  • Meet work standards as established by the department.
  • Monitor quality of raw materials and manufactured products.
  • Identify and inspect required components for assembly.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read and understand work instructions in English.
  • 12+ months related experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Frequent bending, pushing/pulling, reaching, and lifting periodically up to 75 pounds.
  • Regularly lift up to 35 pounds.

Education:

Preferred: High School Diploma or GED.
