Job Description

Apple is seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer to join our Mac Hardware team. As a Hardware Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing the next generation of Mac desktops.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems for Mac desktops
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets manufacturing, test, thermal, performance, reliability, and electrical requirements
  • Analyze factory-scale data to adjust signal parameters for maximum margin
  • Debug problems found in manufacturing and provide corrective action

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience with schematic, PCB physical design using Cadence Concept and Allegro or similar CAD tools
  • Lab skills: oscilloscopes, logic and protocol analyzers, electronic loads, etc
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High-volume consumer electronics system experience
  • Experience leading technically complex projects that are dynamic and business critical
  • Design experience in digital logic, simulation, power conversion and delivery
