Job Title: Patient Service Representative

Job Summary: MaineHealth seeks a skilled Patient Service Representative to provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Check-in patients, obtain demographic information, and verify insurance coverage.
  • Process payments, manage billing and coding, and perform various administrative tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years' experience in medical office setting; strong communication and organizational skills.

Salary and Benefits:

  • $30,000-$42,000 per year, DOE (depending on qualifications and experience).
