As a supervising public health nurse with the County of Shasta California, you will play a vital role in planning, organizing, and evaluating public health services. About the Role
In this position, you will act as liaison between the Specialty Health Services Program Manager and other divisions within Public Health. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the activities of Public Health Nursing staff, ensuring that they provide high-quality public health services to the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and supervise the activities of Public Health Nursing staff
- Act as liaison between the Specialty Health Services Program Manager and other divisions within Public Health
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement public health programs
- Evaluate the effectiveness of public health services and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
- Master's degree in nursing or related field
- Current RN licensure in California
- 3+ years of experience in public health nursing or related field
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. The County of Shasta California offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a retirement plan.
