World Language Scoring Specialist

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced language professionals to join our team as World Language Scorers. As a World Language Scorer, you will play a critical role in evaluating responses from teacher candidates in multiple states, ensuring the quality and integrity of our assessment programs.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate responses of teacher candidates in multiple states, adhering to strict guidelines and rubrics.
- Successfully internalize training and scoring guides, participating in discussions and consensus scoring activities.
- Meet quality and productivity requirements established for the scoring program.
- Engage with other scorers in consensus scoring activities.
Training takes place before scoring begins, and there may be a brief orientation meeting before the day of scoring occurs. Scoring sessions are typically one day long and take place during the week, Monday through Friday. Scoring sessions will occur two to three times a year if a candidate tests.
Qualifications- Be a native speaker of the language or a certified teacher or college educator in the language.
- Basic computer skills (keyboard, mouse).
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to maintain a confidential work environment.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
