Account Manager II Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Manager II to join our team at HUB International. As a key member of our account management team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, managing a book of insurance business, and promoting positive relationships between our sales and service teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a book of insurance business with revenue of $225,000+ and provide professional, courteous service to clients, carrier representatives, and HUB colleagues.
  • Develop and implement insurance plans to meet clients' business and insurance objectives, and critically analyze and compare insurance plans to determine suitability.
  • Act as liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve escalated complex service issues, and negotiate with underwriters and carriers as needed.
  • Oversee the preparation and implementation of all transactions, paperwork, and internal processing for assigned accounts, and maintain accurate and organized account files.
  • Develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads, and contribute to meeting departmental production goals.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in an insurance Account Management role, with a strong background in private client experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a college degree preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels within the organization.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and AMS (Epic preferred).
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $66,560 - $85,000, and a comprehensive benefit and total compensation package that includes health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA, and 401(k) accounts, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, equity, and commissions for some positions.
