Meat Production Specialist

The Meat Production Specialist - Steak Trimming is a critical role at Stampede Culinary Partners, where you will be responsible for trimming meat sub-primals and cutting steaks to exact specifications.

This position requires strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent teamwork skills. You will be working closely with other team members to ensure high-quality products are produced.

• Trim meat sub-primals according to specifications using a meat-cutting knife.
• Cut and trim steaks to meet customer requirements.
• Handle physical pressures of splitting non-frozen meat in half (next to vein) in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate ability to work as a team and follow direction.
• Adhere to all quality and safety guidelines.

• Pass a meat trimming test after 45 days of training including time working alone.
• Understand trimming rules and specifications of product.
• Ability to understand meat tolerances.
• Work in a cold environment.
• Ability to handle frozen meat with hands throughout the day.
• Wear safety helmet, gloves, and safety boots.

We estimate the salary range for this position to be between $35,000 and $50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
