Job Summary:
Ardurra is seeking an entry-level engineer to join our Water/Wastewater team in Corpus Christi, TX. As a Water/Wastewater Engineer in Training, you will be responsible for performing assignments of limited scope, applying standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out design engineering tasks. Your primary function will involve assisting with drawing markups, reviewing, and CAD coordination, as well as technical contract writing and report writing, process and hydraulic calculations, technical specification writing, cost estimate preparation, and other design tasks as necessary.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with drawing markups and review.
• Perform technical contract writing and report writing.
• Conduct process and hydraulic calculations.
• Write technical specifications.
• Prepare cost estimates.
• Complete other design tasks as necessary.
• Oversee site visits to ensure conformance of work. Review construction submittals and coordinate with other disciplines/contractors/vendors.

Requirements:
• Minimum of a 4-year Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program.
• Dependable, strong organizational skills, and work ethics are essential.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities are required.
• Basic understanding of water and wastewater treatment and strong knowledge of hydraulics are necessary. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, AUTOCAD, and Bluebeam is also required.
• Previous internship experience is a plus.
